Design view
The design view consists of different panels used to design the PLUS+1® Service Tool mobile application.

Controls |
The Controls panel is a column of control types. Controls can be added quickly to the application using drag-and-drop, both to the Structure panel and the Page Preview panel. |
Structure |
The Structure panel represents the whole structure of an application, and allows the user to modify the structure of the application. An application consists of a tree of pages, and every page contains a tree of controls representing the UI of the page. Items in the structure can be added, removed, or rearranged. Clicking on an item selects it and allows a user to edit its properties. |
Issues |
The Issues box displays any errors and warnings for the application. An issue is indicated with icons for relevant items. Hovering over the icon shows additional information about the issue. Clicking on the issue reveals the relevant part of the application. |
Preview |
The Preview panel provides a preview of what the page will look like. It can be used for rearranging elements using drag-and-drop, selecting controls to edit its properties, etc. Note: To preview the final design on the
device use the Simulator.
|
Properties | The Properties area allows a user to modify the properties of the selected page or control. |
Undo/Redo | The Undo/Redo button can be used
to undo/redo changes, as history changes is maintained by the
editor. Note: The history is
stored in memory, so reloading the page will reset
it. |
Simulator |
The Simulator button renders a final preview of the design as it is seen on the applicable device and in the PLUS+1 Service Tool. |
